PERSONAL
Messrs R. Turnbull (s), W. Horrell, J. Templeton and J. McElhinney, members of the Allenton Bowling Club, left this morning to play in the Easter bowling tournament at Blenheim.
The president of the Methodist conference (the Rev. E. T. Olds) and Mrs Olds and the Rev. B. H. Riseley, who are touring the South Island in a mobile unit equipped with loud speakers, will visit Ashburton to-morrow. The party will give addresses at the Methodist Bible Class camps for boys and girls, which are being held at the Ashburton Show Grounds and Ashburton East School respectively.
