COLMAN BEST ACTOR IN 1947 (Rec. 10 a.m.) HOLLYWOOD, Mar. 21. Ronald Colman and Loretta Young won the Motion Picture Academy Oscar awards for the best actor and actress in 1947, Colman for his woik in “Double Life” and Miss Young for her work in the “Farmer’s Daughter. ’ Young’s award was one *ef the biggest surprises in Academy history. “Green Dolphin Street” won the award for the best achievement m special effects.
