R ESTIIK T lON S LI FT E O (P.A.) WELLINGTON, March lb. Restrictions on the delivery of petrol in containers have been lifted. The Minister of Supply (Mr A. 11. N'ordineyer) said to-day that the order requiring permits before petrol could he obtained in a container other than the tank of a motorvehicle had been introduced 1o prevent runs on petrol stations and to control the hoarding of petrol by consumers. ■ It had been felt desirable to retain a permit system for the first two weeks In March, until the position settled down under the new system.
