INCREASES SOUGHT
MEDICAL STAFFS OF HOSPITALS (P.A.) WELLINGTON. This Day. Medical staffs of hospitals are reported 1o he seeking substantial pay increases. Claims are being placed before the advisory committee on hospital staff salaries, set up by the Government last year. The claims are advanced by organisations formed over the last 12 months, one representing the medical superintendents and the other all other medical officers.
