OFFICERS ELECTED
ASSOCIATED CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE (P.A.) DUNEDIN, March 19. Tim election of officers of tlm Associated Chambers of Commerce for the onsuing year was held this morning, and resulted as follows: —President, Mr J. R. Dench (Christchurch); vice-president, Mr Frank Wilson (Wellington) ; executive, North Island members, Messrs F. J. Baskett and H. J. Lichenstein (Auckland), H. E. Schofield (Matamata), E. J. Phillips (Hastings), M. S. Hughson (New Plymouth) ; South Island members, Messrs E. T. Beaven (Canterbury), A. C. Stephens, and A. S. Falconer (Dunedin), G. R. McKellar (Nelson), and A. 11. J. Wvatt (Invercargill), Wellington members, Messrs Haskell, Anderson, C. D. A. George. Barton Ginger, W. H. Kindle and S. W. Peterson; New Zealand vice-president of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce of the British Empire, Mr Stronach Paterson, Wellington. The 1949 conference will be held m Auckland.
