DECISION ON PALESTINE
Council Action to be Sought
(Rec. 9.30.) NEW YORK, March IS. The Big Four have reached virtual agreement that a t threat to the peace exists s in Palestine. They will ask the Security Council to-morrow to take immediate steps to end violence in the Holy land. There was no official statement after the big Four met last night, but it is understood that their report may not actually say that a threat to the peace now exists in Palestine, but that they will recommend that the Security Council declare that it will not permit a formal threat to the peace to develop there.
