Several association members stated that the delivery of eight balls saved a great deal of time in changing over, and that the extra tAvo deliveries did not appear to tire the feAV pace boAvlers in the Dominion. The association decided that the eight-ball over was preferable, and Avould secure for NeAV Zealand the same conditions as Avere governing Australian cricket.
