FURS FOR 1948 Effective New Styles Notable new style trends are apparent in the new season's iurs which tor the most part, follow the latest fashions favoured in Britain and America. Coats in three-quarter length and full-length make their debut with fascinating skinwcrkings, new push-up sleeves; and emphasise the smaller collar. The graceful lines of the Ripple back plus deep lapped armholes for greater freedom are two features introduced during the 194 G-47 reason and retained by stylists in this year’s nroductions. American Furriers have featured New Zealand Coney extensively during the past three years, and consequently this fur has attained immense popularity. Musquash, Marmot, Squirrel and Fox take pride of place among the more costly imported furs, and together witn Coney are featured in a delightful selection of luxurious creations at the “Pattison Ede” presentation of furs for 1948. The Showrooms of the Fattison Ede Co. Ltd., are at 72 Lichfield Street, near Colombo Street. Please call for a leisurely viewing of the new models.
