SOVIET FAMILIES IN GERMANY
ORDERS GIVEN FOR RETURN
LONDON, March 17
Russians who have families in ilie Eastern zone of Germany, including Berlin, have been instructed io sendtheir wives and children back to Russia, says lire Berlin correspondent of “The Times.” The movement began some time ago,, but there is evidence that lately it has been speeded up. The precise reason is not known, but the movement may be dne to the replacement of troops, as many of the families affected are those of n.c.o. : s arid other ranks'. One explanation is that too long an association witih the Germans may be bad on ideological grounds.
