HARD FIGHT
HAWKINS BEATEN ON POINTS (Rec. 12.25 p.m.) LONDON, Mar. 16. The coloured middle-weight boxer, Randolph Turpin, defeated the British middle-weight champion, Vince Hawkins, on points over eight rounds at Harringay Stadium. Both boxers were almost at a standstill at the end of the fight.
