MUST GOVERN FOR ALL (Rec. 12.40 p.m.) LONDON, Mar. lb. In a foreword to the East Lewisham Labour Party’s annual report, Mr Herbert Morrison says the Labour Government had taken proper account of the policy declared at the Labour Party’s annual conference, but as the Government had to govern all the people, it also had to take into account all people’s opinions. The Government otherwise would be a dictatorship.
“If we automatically without question carried out the orders of Labour Parly conferences the electors would throw out Labour at the next election, ’’ he said.
