FREIGHTER CREW’S DILEMMA MELBOURNE, March 16 When the Union Company’s freighter Kant put into Melbourne after a rough Tasman crossing members of the crew reported smugly that they had to drink bottled, beer throughout the voyage or die of thirst. Salt water contaminated the vessel’s water tanks, but fortunately there was plenty of beer.
