ACCELERATING TRADE
DECISION OF SOVIET ZONE (Rec. 10.30 a.m.) BERLIN, March 16. Officials in the Russian zone of Germany to-day announced plans lof accelerating trade and economic ties with the Soviet-dominated countries of South-East Europe. The first will be the conclusion of a trade agreement with Czechoslovakia. Josef Oriopp, the Soviet, zone’s Trade Minister, announcing this, said the Soviet zone did not exclude European countries which “honestly want to co-operate with us.”
