February 13. “1 cannot nnderstand it."’ was tlie comment of Air Chief Marshal Sii Keith Park when Air Vice Marshal Bennett’s ease was referred to him wlkui he arrived to-day in the Akaroa. “He was one of the finest airmen Britain, luul,” added Sir Keith, "and now they sack him. lie may have been outspoken, but his efficiency and organising powers were outstanding. He must have offended some Government official or brass hat.”
