MISSIONARY UNION
MEETING AT FLEMiNGTON Mrs R. Brown presided over a meeting of the Flemington Presbyterian Women’s Missionary Union, held in. the church on Wednesday. All members responded to the roll-call, “My favourite text,” The missionary letter from Mrs Crump, of the New Hebrides, told of her safe arrival after being on holiday in New Zealand. All enjoyed \tlie comprehensive and full report of the conference given by the delegate, Mrs D. S. Shaw, who vividly portrayed each day’s proceedings. A spray was presented to her by Mrs S. P. Taylor. Mrs Brown voiced the appreciation of members to Mrs Shaw for her address and continued interest and help. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames T. J. Bell and G. Miles.
