SUPER-FORTRESS HITS PARKED PLANES

TWO OF CREW KILLED NEW YORK, November 10. Two members of the crew died from injuries when a Super-Fortress bomber landing at Hinker Army airfield, Oklahoma City, late 'to-day, crashed into a group of parked fighter aircraft. The other five members of the bomber s crew were admitted to hospital, one in a critical condition. The bomber exploded and broke into four parts. Several Thunderbolt fighters were destroyed and about 12 damaged. The- crash caused a large fire to which fire-fighting crews from Oklahoma City and Midwest City were hastily sent. The flames, did not reach the airport buildings. An eyewitTfess said it was a miracle that any of the crew survived.
