COAL OUTPUT
BIG INCREASE IN BRITAIN (Rce. 11 a.irn) LONDON, Nov. 11. Britain will be able to export in 1948 to Europe at least 6,000,000 tons of coal which the Marshall Plan specifies. The miners have increased production under voluntary overtime involving in some cases Saturday working and others longer week days. It is estimated that Britain is already exporting 5,000,000 tons a year through the bunkering of foreign ships in British ports.
