Though there is the form of two days as a guide, the inclusion of some fresh horses, the possilfij/ changed going, and the re-distribu-tion of the fields make the task of investors still very difficult when the second day of the National meeting is staged at Riccarton to-morrow.

The principal event is the National Hurdles and probably half a dozen of the runners will be strongly supported. Several' prominent candidates have dual engagements, thus adding a. further complication, but the pre-post draw will assist in assessing prospects.
