THEFT OF WOOL

MAN SENTENCED TO iMPP.ISON--MENT (P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 25. When the police stopped Williaiy Hyslop on the Glasgow Wharf, Wellington, last night they found a parcel of wool under his cat. At the police station another parcel v r as found concealed in his trousers. To-day he was charged in the Magistrate’s Court with the theft of the wool and Mr J. H. Thompson, S.M., sentenced him to seven days’ imprisonment. It was stated that accused had served for five years with the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
