GERMAN SOCIALIST PLANS (Rec. 10 a.m.) BERLIN, July 25: The Socialist Unity Party has is* sued a statement opposing American loans to Germany, on the ground that such credits would force industrial Western Germany into a Avestern bloc which would be dangerous to peace. The party urged that Germany should strive for an economy evolved through her own powers and that foreign aid should he accepted only on a short term basis when a German Government Avas established. The party advocated, a recovery plan, envisaging the immediate establishment of German central administration agencies or confiscation and socialisation of the major industries, a voice for the Avorkers in production, and an immediate drafting of an all-German economic plan to increase production. It Avas also urged that all “antiFascist” German political parties should co-operate in framing joint recommendations on Germany’s future which Avould he presented to the London meeting of Foreign Ministei’S in the autumn.
