NEW SCALE DRAWN UP (P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. . The decision to revise the existing salary scale for nurses, made by the general conference of hospital boards in February last, has been attended to, said tbe president of the Hospital Boards’ Association, Mr J. W. Dove, in an interview to-day. A new scale had been drawn up, removing many anomalies, and increasing the present scale in accordance with the provisions of the Hospital Board Employees Regulations, 1947. The approved scale had been sent to the Department of Health for consideration by the advisory committee set up under the regulations.
