TYRANNY IN IRAQ
COMMUNIST PRESS ALLEGATION LONDON, June 2G.. The High Court at Bagdad sentenced the leader of an illegal Communist organisation and his assistant to imprisonment for life and three other members to 15 years’ hard labour. This is the second group of Communists to be tried.
The Communist newspaper “Daily Worker,” demanding British intervention, says the death sentences mean that elementary political rights do not exist in Iraq. The law there is being administered by tyrants in search of blood.
