BURMA’S STATUS
MOVE BY ANTI-FASCISTS (Rec. 9.30 a.m.) RANGOON, June 27. The Anti-Fascist People’s Freedom League stated that its vice-president, Thankin Nu, who is president of the Constituent Assembly, was in London to obtain Dominion status for Burma and ultimately complete independence outside the British Commonwealth, This is the first official or semi-official explanation given in Rangoon of Thankin Nil’s good will mission to London.
