LAGMHOR CLEARING SALE One of the most successful clearing sales for a long time took place at Lagmhor yesterday when Pyne, Gould, Guinness, Ltd., in conjunction with Dalgety and Company, offered all stock, etc., on behalf of the trustees of the late Mr V. W. Wright, of that district. Some of the prices secured were as follow: — - Sheep—One hundred and nineteen one-shear ewes at 47s 6d, 132 do. at 48s, 147 two-shear ewes at 455, 101 do. at 395, 208 three-shear ewes at 355, 97 four-shear ewes, at 335, 90 do. at 32s 6d, 65 five-year ewes at 2Ss, 321 Romney ewe lambs at 375. Cattle—Two cows at £lB, two ,-steers at £7 ss, 12 Hereford calves at £l2 12s, empty cows from £4 to t£7 7s 6d. Horses —Seven draughts at £l2 to £IS, two hacks £26 and £l7. General items: —Stack Algerian oaten sheaves £25, two do. Gartons £26 and £2O, Massey Harris tractor £4OO, woolpress £2S, rollers £lB and £3O, three-furrow traetbr plough £45, swamp plough £26, drill £SO, piano £94.*

Bond 195659, £IOO 15s; 50 Liberty Bonds, 21s 9d; 5 Colonial Sugar, £6l 17s Cd; 200 Macduffs (ord.), 27s 6d. Sales Reported Listed Stocks: 70 Standard Insurance, 88s 6d; 400 Greater J. D. Williams (cum div.), 355; 100 Dominion Breweries, 69s 9d. Sales Reported—Unlisted Stocks: 250 ICorma Textiles, 13s lOd.
