ASHBURTON STOCK MARKET There was a fairly large entry at 1 lie stock market at the Ashburton saleyards to-day. On account of the inclement weather, there was only a small attendance of farmers. Prices remained firm at late rates. Fat ewes made up to 27s 4d for extra prime quality, while prime ranged from 20s to 23s Gd. Medium lines made from 17s to 19s Gd and light up to IGs. There was a good entry of wethers, which ranged as follow. Extra prime, 42s to 4G.s Gd; prime, 39s to 41s Gd; medium, 30s Gd to 38s; and light, up to 335. Three hoggets brought 35s Id.'
