SAVING OF RATION COUPONS
DUNEDIN; COMMITTEE WILL GIVE SUPPORT
.(P.A.) DUNEDIN, August 23. The Otago Famine Emergency Committee decided to-day that, as satisfactory assurances had been received from Dominion headquarters concerning the saving of ration coupons undei the “Food for Britain” scheme, the Committee was now prepared to support in every way possible the special New Zealand-wide campaign, which will open on Monday. . ~ The Committee also decided that it should be extended from one week t j two and that representations should be made for the visiting aii craft Aries to circle the city and not merely pass over it on its flight to Invercai gill. The hope was expressed that the ancuift s flight would stimulate interest m the food campaign. -
