SIX-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT
WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION The Ashburton Women’s Hockey Assocation has. arranged a six-a-side tournament for to-morrow, to be played at the Domain grounds commencing at 1.30 p.m. The tournament has been divided into three sections, senior A, senior B, and junior. Good entries have been received from all clubs, and, some interesting games are assured. After the tournament, the two representative teams will have a practice game. t Men’s teams taking part in competitions to-morrow are: Ashburton A team, to play Barrliill —W. Moore, Vaughan, Harwood (2), Burton, Stephenson, Drummond (2), McCrea, Willis, Read, Graham, J. Weeks. B team, to play Wakanui —Luscom.be, Kirkman, Timms, McCrea, Smith, Finn, Hampton, Copland, Gimson, Stewart, Mayson, Paterson. Baring Square M. Beauvais, I. Iton, IT. Thompson, C. Moody, D. Oliver, J. Baker, G. Penman, A. Del-low, J. Penman, C. Bellow, N. Gosnell; emergencies:—R. Bennington. Iv. Macfarlane.
