CAR CRASHES INTO GROUNDS (Rec. 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 1. While the House of Commons Avas still sitting early this morning, members heard a crash. Several of them led by Mr Chuter Ede rushed out and found, a youth fatally injured and another injured after their , car, following a 70 miles an hour chase by a Scotland Yard patrol car, crashed through the balustrade of the House of Commons and plunged 20 feet on to “Speaker’s Green.” The police discovered that the car Avas stolen in Kent. >
