SHOTS IN CABARET
SOLDIER AND GIRL KILLED (Rec. 12.3 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 1. An American soldier was killed and a German girl seriously injured when shots were fired just before midnight in a fashionable Berlin cabaret, reports Reuter’s Berlin correspondent. A joint British-Russian patrol arrested two Russian soldiers and handed them over to the Russian authorities.
