LOYAL TO KING PETER
MIKHAILOVICH PLANS REVOLUTION!
(Rec. 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 31. A message from Frankfurt says that General Mikhailovcich. is holding 50,000 to 50,000 troops all loyal to King Peter ready for an attempt to overthrow Marshal Broz-Tito in a spring revolution, according to a correspondent of the American forces newspaper “Stars and Stripes” who returned to-day after a five day visit to the Chetnik forces in the Yugoslav mountains.
The correspondent says the Chetnik forces are living under primitive conditions south of Belgrade. General Mikhailovich goes about armed with an American rifle and regards himself as King Peter’s War Minister. He claims no political faith and acts merely as a professional soldier.
