OBITUARY
MR M. WILLIAMS. A figure known to anglers and sportsmen throughout Canterbury and further afield, Mr Lewis Morris Thomas Williams- died at his home, Raukapuka, Geraldine, recently. Born in Christchurch in 1879, Mr Williams was the only son of Charles Hood Williams, a former secretary of the Lyttelton Harbour Board, who came out to* New Zealand on the Randolph, one of the First Four Ships. Following his education at Christchurch Boys’ High School, Mr Williams began his career a.t Spencer Vincent’s pharmacy in Christchurch. He was later on the staff of the Ashburton Drug Company, where he stayed for eight years. In 190 She moved to Geraldine, where he opened his own pharmacy business, in which ho continued to the time of bis death. In 1907 Mr Williams married a daughter of Mr James' Sandoe, of Ashburton. One son, Sapper Theodore Williams, was killed in action this year. Mr Williams is survived by his widow, one son, Mr E. H. Williams, and one daughter, Mrs W. Clark.
