ST* JAMES THEATRE

Metro Goldwyn Mayer’s epic film, “30 Seconds Over Tokyo” will have its last showing at the St. James Theatre to-night. Spencer Tracy, Van Johnson, Phyllis Thaxter and Robert Walker play the leading roles. Based on the best-seller by Captain (now Major) Ted Lawson and Robert Considine, this outstanding motion picture combines the his.toric raid on Tokyo with the truly heartwarming romance of Ted and Ellen Larson. Seldom have interest and entertainment been so skillfully blended as they are in this excellent production. A news reel, cartoon and “Rescue From Shangri-La” are also showing. The attractions for Wednesday and Thursday afternoons and nights are “See My Lawyer,” a riotous musical comedy starring Olsen and Johnson and big cast of specialty artists, and “Brooklyn Orchid,” one of Hal Roach’s bright comedies with Joe Sawyer and William Begdix costarred.
