ROYAL RAE SUCCEEDS The Hororata Racing Club held its annual race meeting on the Motukarnra racecourse on Saturday, in tine weather, and there was an exceptionally large attendance. Some heavy showers tell in the district overnight, but these helped towards making the going favourable, without being fast. The totalisator handled £37,8881 When the club held its last meeting on its own course in Decernper of 1941, the turnover was £7542 10s. The investments at the Banks Peninsula Racing Club’s meeting last month totalled £43,686 10s. Concluding results:
