TOTAL ECONOMIC BLOCKADE
ARAB SANCTIONS AGAINST PALESTINE JEWS b JERUSALEM, Dec, 16. The Arab League has completed plans for a total economic blockade of Palestine Jewsi. ' It will be the greatest boycott since sanctions Avere applied against Italy, says the con*espondent of the “Obseiwer,” and Avill make further Jewish immigration impossible. The boycott will begin on January 1. The leader in Palestine, Anni Bey Abdul Hadi, told the correspondent that all member States of the Ai'ab League will stop granting import licences to goods from Jewish Palestine and will inflict heavy punishments for infringement. The boycott will open a special fund to assist Arab industries in Palestine to develop competition Avith the JeAVS. They are also refusing Afisas to qil JeAvs to travel in Arab countries as visitors or in transit. *
