ST. JAMES THEATRE % Romance and music, comedy and drama, make up ihe four-way theme of “Show Business,” which screens at the St. James Theatre to-night and at afternoon and night sessions on Thursday. Revolving about the lives of a little group of Broadway stage people and their climb to theatrical fame, the picture stars Eddie Cantor and George Murphy as a team of young actors, with Joan Davis, Nancy Kelly and Constance Moore also starred in the feminine leads. Glimpses of many of the hit 'musical shows of the 1914-20 era, and a. wealth or song favourites of that period, enhance the entertainment, qualities of the film. Old favourite songs included are “Dinah,” “Whoopee” and “It Had to Be You,” which Eddie Cantor sings in his own inimitable style. Supporting items include Joe Kirkwood on Golf, Famous Jury Trials, and News of file Day.
