STILL DISSATISFIED
VENDORS AND MILK PRICES Dissatisfaction with the price order for the sale of milk..in Ashburton was expressed by vendors this morning. One announced that unless there was further consideration of the matter by the authorities he and two others would charge consumers. 7d a. quart from January 1. The grounds for the complaints of the milkmen interviewed were that the price had been fixed without a. filial settlement between, producers and vendors. They said representatives of the l Government bad come to Ashburton and gone back to Wellington, following which the price had been fixed without further communication from them. This was decidedly not a satisfactory way of doing things.
