ASSAULT WITH INTENT TO ROB
FOUR MEN PLEAD GUILTY (P.A.) AUCKLAND, December 3. A sequel to the interruption of a Chinese fan tan school.in premises in Greys Avenue on November 16 was heard in the Magistrate’s Court this morning, when four men, William Rawiri Green, aged 28, William Arden, aged 19, Tutanekai Tipere, aged 22, and Philip John Sankey, aged 17, were charged that, being armed with a revolver, they assaulted Chan Sue and others with intent to rob. They were also charged with unlawful conversion of two motor-cars. All the accused pleaded guilty to aH charges and were committed to the’ Supreme Court for sentence.
