SCHOOL FUNDS BENEFIT To augment school- funds, an entertainment was given in the local hall, which was well filled. The headmaster, Mr Woolman, presented three moving pictures showing' scenes in Quebec, “Farm Life,” and “The Leather Industry.” Vocal items were given by Misses May, Ngaio and Margery Chapman (trios), Miss Sedeole (solos), Mrs D. Shaw (piano solos). After supper had been dispensed a dance was held, Mr T. O’Ctradv being M.C., and Mrs D. Shaw and Mrs T. O’Grady providing the music.
