ASHBURTON STOCK SALE An over supply of hoggets at the Ashburton stock market to-day was responsible for a decline of between 4s and 5s in the prices which ranged from 25s lOd to .32s 7d a head.. Prime ewes were also down in value, prices being 2isi to 3s lower than at the previous sale. A. J. Doak, of Wakanui, topped the market with fo at 21s id. Prices ranged from 15s Id. Wethers made up to 35s lOd, A. J. Doak also obtaining the highest price in this section. _ „ , . Two fat lambs brought 31s Id each. There. was a large yarding, about half the entry being hoggets.
