ARAB ACTION
BOYCOTT PROPOSED ZIONIST ECONOMIC DANGERS (N.Z. Press Association-—Copyright.) (Roc. 10.25 a.m.) CAIRO, Dee. 3. The council of the Pan-Arab League passed a resolution calling for action “against the Zionist economic ’ and urging every Arab in fne country from January 1 to boycott all goods manufactured in Palestine. The resolution described commodities of Palestine origin as undesirable, and continued importation into Arab countries as an aid to Zionist aims. It also called on neighbouring countries not belonging to the Arab League to join in the boycott. The secretary-general of the Arab League, Abdul Azzam Bey, said the boycott was not directed against Jews as' a. people, but against the Zionist movement. The measures would be lifted as soon as Jewish immigrationstopped. Questioned about the fate of 70,000 Arabs working in Jewish industries in Palestine, Azzam Bey said he believed the Zionists would be glad to see them expelled from Palestine.
