PRISONERS IN JAPAN.
EVACUATION PLANS. (Rec. 10.50) NEW YORK, Aug. 23. The Tokio radio says that Japanese General Headquarters informed General MacArtliur that Japanese Red Cross delegates and Swiss and Swedish Legation aides will to-morrow proceed to Japan’s seven main prisoner of Avar camps to assist in the evacuation of prisoners of war and civil internees to embarkation points.
