WOOL EXPERTS

VISIT TO DOMINION. (P.A.) WELLINGTON, August 21. Two leading British experts on avool •will arrive in NeAV Zealand shortly, feaid the secretary of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Dr. E. Marsden, to-day. They are Dr. B. H. Wilsdon and Professor Speakman. Dr. Wilsdon is advisory assistant on avool problems to the British Government, and director of the avool research station, Torridon, England. He will arrive in Wellington early in September, and Avill visit both islands, including Massey and Lincoln .Agricultural Colleges. He AVill also meet members of the Wool Board and confer with growers’ and manufacturers’ representatives. Professor Speakman is professor of textiles at Leeds University, and will similarly confer Avith representatives of the industry. He is due to arrive in tAVO months.
