OBSERVING ECLIPSE.
(Rec. 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, June 11. The Rugby radio station will transmit signals from Greenwich to enable Swedish astronomers to co-ordinate Iheir observations of a total eclipse ot the sun on July 9, says Reuter’s correspondent at Stockholm. The Swedish and British astronomers will be watching the eclipse from Iho most favourable vantage points The Swedes will experiment, to see whether observations of the eclipse can he used in checking the shape oi the earth. The eclipse will he only partially visible from Britain.
