WOMAN EXECUTED.
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright.! (Rec. 2 p.m.) LONDON, May 30. A Brussels message says that the first woman to be executed in Belgium in this war on a treason charge was shot, at Bruges to-day. She was a Flemish peasant woman who was found guilty of denouncing patriots to the Germans. Three of those whom she denounced were shot at sight and four were executed later.
