FATE OF JAPAN.
OUTCOME ON OKINAWA. (Rec. 2 p.m.) NEW YORK, May 30. Admiral Suzuki, Japanese Prime Minister, told the Cabinet that the fate of Japan depends on the outcome of the Okinawa battle, which was rapidly reaching a climax. “Our hope and determination to win the war are anchored solely on Okinawa. Tokio has suffered gravely at the hands of the enemy, while Yokohama has been chosen as the next area of indiscriminate incendiary attacks.”
