LONDON, May 29. Hundreds of posters warning against fraternisation are going up throughout Germany, but experienced officers are of the opinion. that the nonfraternisation plan is unworkable as a long-term policy, says the correspondent of the British United Press with the British 2nd Army. Field-Marshal Sir Bernard Montgomery feels that some modification of the cast iron law is necessary.
