GERMANS APATHETIC.
BRITISH OCCUPATION ZONE. (Rec. 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 29. Air Chief Marshal Sir Arthur Tedder, before completing his visit to Copenhagen, said that the Allied Military Government in Germany was progressing gradually, reports a Copenhagen correspondent. Sir Arthur Tedder said that gradual progress was being made in fixing the zone of occupation. He was unable tp generalise, but his impression was that the Germans were very apathetic. Asked about any underground movement in Germany by werewolves, he said: “So far nothing serious has happened and there are only small groups of three or four, I believe S.S. men are gding about their usual business.” Sir Arthur Tedder said - the food situation in Germany was grave. He expressed admiration for the Danes, who, lie said, had kept things going throughout very difficult years.
