TOUR BY AMERICANS. f (Bee. 9.30 a.m.) LONDot', May 28 Three Congressmen—Messrs Haiolci D. Colley, Arnold E. Earthman and George Grant—have just returned to London from a fortnight s tour _oi British farms. They were very impressed with the activity .they saw and the spirit of the farmers and producers to the call for more food. - During their tour, they said, they had not seen a single field unlilled, and every field was being utilised to the fullest advantage. They added that the Allied forces owed a great deal to the Women’s Land Army for then marvellous contribution to the success of the agricultural programme. ■ ■
