HIGH EARNINGS.
EASTER WEEK IN BRITAIN. LONDON, April 11. The Select Committee on National Expenditure, reporting on high earn-* ings, revealed that dockers at a northern British port in the Easter period last year earned rates between £32 and £46 a week, including holiday and overtime pay. Women in aircraft factories earned rates up to £lB 10s a week. These are admitted to be abnormal pates, blit the committee has expressed the opinion that the machinery for correcting such anomalies does not work quickly enough.
