THE ASHBURTON LADIES’ CLUB. A stroke match played by the Ashburton Ladies’ Golf Club yesterday was won by Mrs. J. H. Grigg, who reduced her handicap by two strokes. The best scores were: —Mrs J. H. Grigg 102, 34 —6S, Mrs P. J. Clarke 109, 34 —75, Mrs E. Brophy 95, 18—77. In the second round of the Coronation Cup match played last week, the game between Mesdames C. D. Dallison and E. Brophy was won by Mrs Dallison.
